Rabiz - this word was used to identify a certain style of Armenian music. An adaptation of a Russian term, rabiz translates as "workers of art,” rabotniki isskustva . The movement was started sometime in the 1920's and has been one of the favorite styles of music among Armenian people ever since. In the last 10 years, the term rabiz has also been used to identify a clothing style and lifestyle.
